1969 CECO Corporation Purchases Windsor Door from C.E. Webb
1972 Windsor Door begins manufacturing rolling steel doors
1978 Windsor Door builds 100,000 Sq Ft plant in Marysville, CA
1979 Windsor Door begins manufacturing commercial openers
1984 Chamberlin (LiftMaster) purchases Windsor commercial operator line
1990 CECO Corporation merges with HH Roberson - Windsor Door becomes subsidiary
1990 Windsor door pioneers Tog L Lock fastening, Tongue & Grove Design, and Hemmed edges-standard features still used industry wide
1992 United Dominion Industries of Canada purchases Windsor Door
1995 United Dominion purchases McKee Door of Aurora, IL and merges McKee assets into WindsorDoor
1997 American Buildings Company buys Windsor Door from United Dominion
1999 Onex Corporation acquires American Buildings Company and Windsor Door becomes part of Entry Division
2004 DESCO Capital Partners acquire Windsor Door and merge it with their Republic Door Division to form Windsor Republic Doors
2011 Garage Door Services of Houston acquire the assets of Windsor Republic's garage door division and return the name to Windsor Door
