HR Supervisor – Manufacturing
Windsor Door is a 3rd generation family-owned company that has been a leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of 100% American-made sectional residential garage doors and commercial-duty overhead doors for over 60 years. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and innovation, serving a diverse range of partners across the nation. We have doubled in size in the last 18 months!
We’re looking for a hands-on, bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Supervisor to lead our people operations inside a busy, high-speed manufacturing plant. This isn’t a desk-only HR job — you’ll spend time on the floor, talking with employees, helping solve problems, and supporting the leaders who keep production running.
Our facility runs 24 hours a day, 5–5.5 days a week, so flexibility is important. You’ll be part of a fast-moving, sometimes unpredictable environment where every day brings new challenges. We need someone who can think on their feet, communicate clearly, and keep things moving in the right direction.
This position is also part of our succession planning, meaning there’s opportunity to grow into larger roles as you prove yourself.
What You’ll Be Doing
Safety is our number one priority - you will be a champion of safety.
· Employee Relations: Build trust with employees and managers. Handle issues quickly and fairly — from coaching and counseling to investigations and discipline when needed.
· Hiring and Onboarding: Lead the hiring process for salaried staff and support hourly hiring. Help new employees get off to a strong start.
· Compliance and Policy: Make sure we’re following labor laws, CBAs, and company policies. Partner with plant management to create and enforce fair, consistent practices.
· Pay and Performance: Support managers with reviews, pay discussions, and development plans. Help keep pay competitive and performance on track.
· Union Relations: Learn to work with union reps on grievances and contract administration to maintain a respectful, productive relationship.
What You Need
· Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field (PHR preferred).
· Bilingual – English and Spanish (no exceptions)
· Solid HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
· Strong people skills — able to listen, stay calm, and make sound decisions.
· Comfortable using HRIS (ADP) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
· Willing to adjust your schedule to meet the needs of a 24-hour operation as needed -Schedule is usually 8 hours per date
Why This Role Matters
You’ll be a key part of keeping our team running strong — supporting our people, improving processes, and helping build a workplace where employees feel valued and respected. If you’re ready to lead from the floor and grow into the next level of HR leadership, we want to hear from you.
